Top Ten Tuesday

I want to thank Rose City Reader for bringing Top Ten Tuesday to my attention.  This is my first attempt at participating, so here goes...Top Ten Words/Topics That Will Make You NOT pick up a book.

1. Vampires (except Dracula by Bram Stoker)
2. Werewolves
3. Zombies
4. Erotica (Zilch interest in reading this genre)
5. YA Romance
6. YA High School Drama
7. Fairy Tales Retold from different points of view
8. Aliens
9. Pirate Stories (except Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie)
10. Adult Romance (Think bare chested man on cover kind of romance)

I didn't think I could get to ten, but I did.  I'm sure I'll think of something else later, but this will have to do.  I'm getting this in under the wire.  What are your top ten turn-offs?  Let us know here at The Things You Can Read.
