I love the meaning of the Japanese word, wabi-sabi.  I thought I'd share this life-altering word and look for your thoughts on embracing this concept into your reading/writing life.  Let us know if wabi-sabi is a viewpoint you already embrace or will embrace in the future

Wabi-Sabi: Finding Beauty in Imperfection and Impermanence

Both an aesthetic and a worldview, it connotes a way of living that finds beauty in imperfection and accepts the natural cycle of growth and decay.

  1. The complete opposite of our Western obsession with youth and artificial perfection. It's a good concept to remember sometimes.
