I think we read 1984 and Fahrenheti 451 in school as a kid but I don't remember much and think it's time for a reread. Divergent would be the first YA dystopian that I remember and loved it and Hunger Games. Stopping by from ABEA! I too love The Hunger game series. We added this book to our "teaching novels" at my school, but since The Hunger Game fever is still rampant, I need to wait a bit before I try and teach this one. I also love when Stephen King enters the world of dystopia. The Writing Whispererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15889726522714523229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1854853255684331645.post-81591672315426709792013-06-02T06:44:35.477-07:002013-06-02T06:44:35.477-07:00I LOVE the wallpaper on your blog!!! I'd to re-read The Giver series since the last one, Son, came out last year. I've enjoyed a lot of YA dystopian series lately: Hunger Games Divergent, Delirium, Matched, Legend, and more! My favorite adult dystopian book is The Stand by Stephen King. Some of my favorites include, The Culling by Steven Dos Santos, V For Vendetta by Alan Moore and The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.

My BEA post for TodayKristin A.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15763712406760271208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1854853255684331645.post-86691651710427211772013-06-02T05:10:31.799-07:002013-06-02T05:10:31.799-07:00The Giver is my "go to" book when I take...The Giver is my "go to" book when I take the kids to the library.
